True-North magnetic pillow pads are a naturally effective way to help relieve discomfort and experience a more restful, restorative sleep. The magnetic energy and comfortable foam reduces pressure points and encourages whole body relaxation.
There are numerous studies, using both animals and people, showing that exposure to magnetic fields accelerates the rate at which the body heals, while also providing a degree of pain relief. In these studies the subjects are typically exposed to magnetic fields for extended periods of time. Due to the very nature of sleep, and the design our beds, this is a perfect opportunity to allow the healing energy of magnetism to permeate the entire body
Our Magnet Therapy Pads contain powerful ceramic ferrite magnets (manufacturers gauss rating of 3650 - 3950 per magnet/ surface output of 1500-2000). The pad can be slipped into your existing pillow case or used for travel. Also known to be used for a chair pad to ease aching hips.
The pads are made from a 4-ply construction of quilted polyester fiber, without the addition of any flame retardant chemicals, or foam padding, We use Grade 8 ferrite ceramic magnets that are 1” in diameter and 1/4” thick. They are placed in a 4” grid, covering the entire surface of the pad, and held firmly in place between the layers without the use of any solvent based adhesives.
